My Concordia Career: Ashley Barr’s Story

The Concordia Team is comprised of many talented and compassionate employees who have graciously served our mission in a variety of ways – and we are excited for you to meet these fantastic individuals. Let us introduce you to Ashley Barr!

Ashley began her Concordia career at Concordia at Cabot as a Nursing Assistant in 2010 and came back to Concordia at Rebecca Residence in May of 2018 to continue her Nursing Assistant careers.

When we asked Ashley to describe Concordia using only one word, she stated “compassionate.”

“Concordia honestly cares about their employees and their residents. It is a very compassionate organization.”

Ashley couldn’t name her favorite memories of Concordia because her goal is to continue making memories with our residents.

“I continue to make great memories with the residents, so I really can’t pick just one favorite!”

Ashley spends her free time with her husband and son. She enjoys reading, watching television, hiking, crocheting and knitting. Ashley also cites laughing as a favorite hobby!

When we asked Ashley what motivates her to succeed, she had the following to say:

“My drive to be better than I was the day before is propelled by the desire to make others happy in the process.”
