My Concordia Career: Lauren Colussi’s Story

The Concordia Team is comprised of many talented and compassionate employees who have graciously served our mission in a variety of ways – and we are excited for you to meet these fantastic individuals. Let us introduce you to Lauren Colussi!

Lauren joined the Concordia family in September of 2010 as a Nurse Aide for Concordia of Cranberry. She later transitioned into a Med Tech role prior to transferring to Concordia at Villa St. Joseph in June of 2019. Lauren graduated from the Villa’s Nurse Aide training class and earned her CNA certification this past October.

Lauren told us she thinks of the word “growth” when describing Concordia because of the organization’s focus on professional development.

“I choose to work for Concordia because of the many opportunities available to help one professionally grow. I also have great co-workers and the pay is good!”

Lauren’s favorite memories of Concordia are all related to the residents she cares for. She enjoys the relationships and connections she has made with our residents and their families over the years.

She told us the secret to success is “staying positive in life!”
