My Concordia Career: Paula Costa’s Story

Costa Paula

The Concordia Team is comprised of many talented and compassionate employees who have graciously served our mission in a variety of ways – and we are excited for you to meet these fantastic individuals. Let us introduce you to Paula Costa!

Paula began her Concordia career in May of 2012 as a Nursing Assistant for Concordia at Cabot. Throughout the years, Paula has also served as a Medical Technician as well as a Mentor.

Paula thinks of the word “home” when asked to sum up Concordia in a short phrase:

“Concordia is home to me – my second home and my residents are my second family!”

Paula initially came to Concordia because of our organization’s Christian values and her desire to work in this kind of environment. She has stayed because of our unwavering values, along with the following:

“I choose to work for Concordia because I find the job to help others to be extremely rewarding. I have also developed quite a few friendships with my co-workers and residents. It is also very nice to work for an organization who has a respectful and supportive management team.”

Paula said that her favorite Concordia memory was when she brought in her daughters for their first Trick-or-Treat at our Cabot campus and the joy it brought her to introduce her family to our residents.

Outside of Concordia, Paula enjoys spending time with family, whether it’s family dinners or shopping outings, she enjoys quality family time and cherishing the simple things. When she’s not visiting with family, you may find her at the gym, reading a book, or traveling!

Paula said that her children and her desire for them to have a great life is her motivation to succeed!
