My Concordia Career: Samantha McKinney’s Story

The Concordia Team is comprised of many talented and compassionate employees who have graciously served our mission in a variety of ways – and we are excited for you to meet these fantastic individuals. Let us introduce you to Samantha McKinney!

Samantha began her Concordia career in March of 2016 as a Graduate Practical Nurse for Concordia of Cranberry. She soon earned her LPN credentials and has continued to serve our Personal Care residents at Cranberry.
 
Samantha used the word “caring” when describing Concordia. Upon talking to her, we quickly learned that she fits right into our caring environment with her focus on resident care:

“I choose to work for Concordia for many reasons including the organization’s values and my great co-workers, but the top reason I come to work each day is because of our residents. All of my favorite memories of Concordia are centered around the residents and watching them interact during activities.”

In her free time, Samantha enjoys quality time spent with her boyfriend, friends, and family, and also shopping. She cracked us up when she answered that eating cereal with a fork was a secret talent… we’re not sure if we’d define that as a talent, unless we see some proof that there’s milk with that cereal!

Samantha stated that she’s motivated to succeed by continually setting and meeting personal and professional goals.
