The health and well-being of our patients, residents and team members is our number one priority. Despite many of the counties in which we operate beginning to re-open, per the Departments of Health, Concordia is still operating under a no visitation policy, except for patients/residents in end-of-life situations. However, those wishing to see their loved ones can schedule time with them at one of our safe visitation areas. Please call your loved one's facility for more information. For information regarding Concordia’s coronavirus precautions and cases, please click here. We have also began publishing regular video devotions from our Chaplains. My Concordia Career: Shelly Wood’s Story

March 28, 2019

The Concordia Team is comprised of many talented and compassionate employees who have graciously served our mission in a variety of ways – and we are excited for you to meet these fantastic individuals. Let us introduce you to Shelly Wood!

Shelly Wood 2Shelly is a Licensed Practical Nurse who began her Concordia career in May of 2011 at Concordia of Cranberry.

Shelly said that the one word that comes to mind when she thinks of Concordia is “family.” She provided us with the top three reasons she chooses to work for Concordia:

“I like all of my co-workers and enjoy working with them! Concordia offers competitive pay, which I enjoy, but more importantly the organization treats their employees well and I certainly feel valued.”

Shelly also enjoys her daily interaction with the residents in personal care. Her favorite Concordia memory was watching the residents react to a Halloween entertainer. She is also very gifted with working with more challenging residents to ensure they are completing their ADLs.

Shelly spends her free time with her family and enjoys hiking, camping, and cooking!

We’d love to hear your future story! Find your next career by visiting www.concordiacareers.org.
