A Beautiful Weekend for Camp Good SAM

Thirty five kids spent last weekend at Camp Good SAM, a Good Samaritan Hospice-sponsored bereavement camp for children who have lost a loved one. The weekend is much like a "regular" summer camp, filled with activities like swimming, crafts, campfires and the like, but it also lets children ages 6 12 know their grief is normal and helps them face their loss. Thanks to community support, grants, and organizational sponsorships, Camp Good SAM is free.
