Concordia's Third Annual Season of Hope Starts Today!

As the weather turns – we become more and more aware that we are entering into the holiday and Christmas season at a rapid pace. It is a reminder of the importance of hope. During this season, as we await and celebrate Jesus’ birth, we are all in search of hope- for healing, for happiness and comfort. Concordia’s residents and patients are hopeful that each day, they will see and feel our best efforts to be the “hands and feet of Jesus” in the care we offer – and we are privileged to provide it year-round.

Here at Concordia, we understand what you are going through and how heart-wrenching it may be.  When older seniors have an unrealistic view about their future and their ability to care for themselves, it makes this conversation even more difficult. September came to a close with a beautiful, autumn day at Saxony Farm Estate, in Saxonburg, with the Second Annual Good Samaritan Hospice Walk. Those in attendance walked a little more than a mile around the quiet farm in memory of their lost loved ones.

Concordia at Sumner hosted their Second Annual Fashion Show fundraiser on Sunday, September 17 at St. George’s Fellowship Hall in Fairlawn, Ohio and wow - the ladies rocked the runway! The event impressed all those in attendance with a combination of fashions, fun and fellowship – all for a good cause. Proceeds benefitted their new Garden of Prayer on the senior community’s campus.
