The health and well-being of our patients, residents and team members is our number one priority. Despite many of the counties in which we operate beginning to re-open, per the Departments of Health, Concordia is still operating under a no visitation policy, except for patients/residents in end-of-life situations. However, those wishing to see their loved ones can schedule time with them at one of our safe visitation areas. Please call your loved one's facility for more information. Concordia Calendar Artist Profile: Dolores Buffington

In 2019, Concordia’s calendar featured amazing resident artists – some who studied art in college and made a career out of it, some who won awards for their paintings and even those who always enjoyed art but didn’t truly get to paint until coming to Concordia. The good news is that the first group only scratched the surface of the talent found at Concordia. For 2020, our calendar features gorgeous paintings from 11 new artists.

Titled “Brush Strokes 2,” the calendar features a different painting each month by a resident who lives at one of our locations. And each month, we’ll introduce you to the artist, here. January’s resident artist is Dolores Buffington of Concordia Village of Tampa.

It was another great year at Concordia, filled with God’s blessings, hard work and loving care delivered to over 40,000 patients and residents. We completed our expansion project at Concordia at Sumner, which added 65 gorgeous retirement living apartments to the community; Concordia of Monroeville celebrated its 5-year anniversary as part of the Concordia family; over 64 of our residents at several Concordia locations turned 100; 55 employees celebrated 20 years with us and 4 celebrated over 40; the Pittsburgh Pirates made a visit to Concordia at Cabot and so much more!
