This type of specialized care is tailored to patients with terminal illnesses, with the goal of providing comfort and improving the patient’s quality of life. Hospice care provides a full complement of medically driven comfort and symptom management, but is not curative care, which is care to cure an illness.

First-Ever Young at Heart Event a Great Success

From the bottom of our hearts (get it?), we would like to thank everyone who attended the Young at Heart event at Concordia at Villa St. Joseph! Nearly 150 people came to enjoy entertainment, live music, a silent auction, basket drawings, delicious food and more.

Concordia Couple Finds Happiness on Valentine’s Day

Phrases like: “I’ll love you for eternity,” “Good things in life are better with you,” and even “The secret to a happy marriage remains a secret,” can evoke some wonderful - or even colorful memories.  

For one couple at Concordia Village of Tampa, their testament of love is far greater than anything expressed in a one-line greeting.
