The health and well-being of our patients, residents and team members is our number one priority. Despite many of the counties in which we operate beginning to re-open, per the Departments of Health, Concordia is still operating under a no visitation policy, except for patients/residents in end-of-life situations. However, those wishing to see their loved ones can schedule time with them at one of our safe visitation areas. Please call your loved one's facility for more information. The Good Samaritan Hospice Unit on the Concordia at Cabot campus is equipped with all the furnishings of home to make your loved one and family as comfortable as possible. Each of the 10 bedrooms in the 6,500 square foot wing is uniquely decorated and furnished with a bed, recliner, dresser, armoire, television, DVD player and clock radio. Additionally, two patient suites provide an adjoining room to accommodate overnight guests.

The beautiful common areas include:

  • Large kitchen area
  • Family-friendly dining room
  • Comfortable family room
  • Peaceful Chapel

The hospice unit is staffed 7 days a week, 24 hours a day by a team of nurses, aides and specially-trained hospice volunteers. Clergy members requested by a resident are always welcome and spiritual support of all denominations is available through our chaplain.
