Award-Winning Angels Return to Concordia

Jefferson Twp., PA - The award-winning "Angels on Call" program will be re-introduced at the Concordia at Cabot campus. Two training sessions for interested volunteers have been scheduled for volunteers on Thursday, July 18 at the Haven I Dining Room from 1-2 p.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m.

"Angels on Call" are volunteers who have a desire to add physical, emotional and spiritual support and care to those who are in end-of-life hours; they are "on call" to be with these patients at any time, day or night. If you share the feeling that no one should be alone at this important time of life, you could be the perfect "angel."

Trainings will be hosted by Good Samaritan Hospice and Concordia staff, along with the first "angel" on the list of volunteers--Keith Frndak, President and CEO of Concordia. Refreshments will be served.
