County Cork, Ireland native Cahal Dunne is an award winning singer, songwriter, story teller, and comedian. He is best known for representing Ireland in the 1979 Eurovision Song Contest, where he performed his song “Happy Man.” “Happy Man” became the number one song in Europe and Ireland for a time, topping the 250,000 mark in record sales. Dunne graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in 1974 from the University College of Cork.
