A graduate of Penn State University with a B.S. in Exercise and B.A. in Physical Therapist Assistant, he has been working in the field of Physical Therapy for 27 years. For the last 10 years he has served in the Inpatient Therapy Department at Concordia at Cabot Lund Care Center. Prior to coming to Concordia he spent 16 years at an outpatient clinic.
In addition to treating patients who come to Concordia for physical therapy to get them back to their normal routine, Geitgey is certified to teach Silver Sneakers classes at one of Concordia retirement living communities two days a week.
“Concordia is a growing company that has a good reputation for being the gold standard in skilled nursing facilities,” said Geitgey.
He and his wife Alisa and daughter Bailey live in Butler. He enjoys traveling, softball, exercising, running, hiking, biking and watching Penn State football and the Penguins and Steelers.
