Concordia at Cabot Personal Care Resident Turns 100

Jefferson Twp., PA – Concordia at Cabot Personal Care resident Loma Wheeler Krzton celebrates her 100th birthday on August 10, 2016.

A native of York Run in Fayette County, PA, she married William J. Krzton on August 3, 1942 in Winchester, VA.  The couple had one son, Billy who resides in Natrona Heights and two granddaughters, Alicia and Amelia.

She lost her husband in 2002 and moved to Lund Care Center in 2010. Loma still reads the newspaper, attends Bible study, watches the news and loves novels.  Among her current interests is bird-watching and embroidery. She remains a fan of Pirate baseball and Pitt football, loves chocolate covered peanuts and apple juice.

Loma was a secretary at Georges Township High School in Fayette County and worked in the tax department in Harrisburg. A National Honors Society member, she counts that achievement as one of her greatest.
