Concordia Delegates Elect 2011 Board Members

Cabot, PA - Six new board members were elected to serve a three-year term on Sunday, Nov. 14 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries' annual meeting. Eighteen board members comprise the governing body and represent 36 Missouri Synod Lutheran Churches in the western Pennsylvania area.

Installed by Rev. Jack Hartman, chaplain director at Concordia, the newly elected members are: Dan Driscoll - St. Luke, Cabot, manager of reprographics at North Hills School District; Paul Rehkopf - Calvary, Murrysville, retired from UPMC as Director of Laser Surgery; Beth Koegler - St. Luke, Cabot, regional manager for Triple A; Rev. Jamison Hardy, pastor, Peace, McMurray; Rev. David Weeks, pastor, Calvary, Murrysville; Sandy Marcevecchio - Good Shepherd, South Hills, former Health Care Senior Consultant with Ernst & Young, LLP.

Twenty-three churches were represented and a total of 105 delegates, pastors and staff members were in attendance at the meting. Concordia President and CEO Keith E. Frndak said he is both impressed and delighted with the caliber of the candidates and looks forward to robust expansion and strong support of our mission of faithful caring. Concordia Board Chairman Stephen Johnson introduced the current Board and thanked them for their service.

Special recognition to Dr. C. Ross Betts and Michael Fiffik, Esq., who will finish their terms on the Board at the end of 2010.
