Concordia Haven Apartments to Host Free Diabetes Class
Cabot, PA - Concordia Haven Apartments is holding the fourth and final session in its free series on Diabetes Management on June 10, 2 p.m. in Haven III.
The June session is on preventing, detecting and treating complications. The classes, which are led by Certified Diabetes Educator Terry Garcia, are held in conjunction with Concordia's "senior college," the Concordia Institute for Lifelong Learning.
Each class is a stand-alone session, so participants can come even if they haven't been to the previous sessions.
The series is designed to provide education on possible prevention, quality of life with the disease, self-empowerment and more. And it's not just for those with diabetes, but also for those who are at risk, families of those afflicted, etc.
For more information or to register for the class, contact Haven Program Director Cathy Questiaux at 724.352.1571, ext 8518.
