Concordia Havens Host Free Concert Open to the Public

Jefferson Twp., PA - The community is invited to a country classics concert planned by the independent living activities department and sponsored by Consol Energy.

The Black Horse Band will be performing songs from legendary country classics like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams Sr., George Jones and Buck Owens in a 90-minute show on Saturday, November 23 at 7 p.m. in the Haven I Dining Room located at 112 Marwood Road in Cabot (Entrance 2A) on the Concordia Lutheran Ministries campus. According to founders John Natale and Ken Homerosky, this band draws upon the vast catalog of treasured classics instead othe current latest country hits. The band has been playing venues throughout  Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. After the bands' first appearance at the World Famous Wheeling Jamboree, they were invited to join the Jamboree as regular cast members. They also performed this past summer at the Ohio State Fair.
