Concordia Havens Host Free Patio Concert Open to the Public

Jefferson Twp., PA – The community is invited to a country classics concert planned by the independent living activities department and sponsored by Consol Energy on Sunday, June 1 at 6 p.m. The concert will follow an Open House at Haven II from 3 – 6 p.m.

The Black Horse Band will be performing songs from legendary country classics like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Hank Williams Sr., George Jones and Buck Owens in a 90-minute show on the outdoor patio located at Entrance 5, Have II, 148 Marwood Road in Cabot on the Concordia Lutheran Ministries campus.

According to founders John Natale and Ken Homerosky, this band draws upon the vast catalog of treasured classics instead othe current latest country hits. The band has been playing venues throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. After the bands' first appearance at the World Famous Wheeling Jamboree, they were invited to join the Jamboree as regular cast members. They also performed last summer at the Ohio State Fair.

Light refreshments will be served. For more information call Lisa Steinhiser at 724-352-1571, ext. 8251.
