Concordia Independent Living Resident Turns 100

Cheswick, PA - Concordia Haven I resident Arlene Hill Teets celebrates her 100th birthday at a party with family and friends today.

The former Arlene Hill was born in Baden on September 3, 1912. She married her late husband Reed H. Teets on August 25, 1937 at her home. She has two children: Virginia L. Hausele who also lives at Concordia Haven I with her husband, Rev. Raymond E. Hausele Sr. and Edward H. Teets Sr. of Rochester. She also has seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Teets was a nurse at Rochester Hospital until 1963 when she became owner of Teets Hardware Store in Rochester until her retirement in 1977. She has lived at Concordia Haven I for more than two years.
