Concordia Opens Premier Short-Term Rehabilitation Facility in Monroeville

Jefferson Twp., PA – Today, Concordia Lutheran Ministries opened Harmony Physical Rehabilitation, a premier short-term rehabilitation facility located at 4365 Northern Pike.

Last May, Concordia purchased the 2010 building which formerly housed Cedars Community Hospice. According to President and CEO Keith Frndak, the facility has been refurbished to promote a faith-based environment of healing and comfort.

Grand Opening events are scheduled for Thursday, September 10 from 3 – 7 p.m. and Sunday, September 13 from 3 – 6 p.m.

Harmony Physical Rehabilitation is Medicare-certified and provides some of the largest patient rooms in the region with smart TVs as well as a spacious physical therapy gym with the latest equipment and updated accommodations.  Specially trained professionals staff 24/7 to get patients back to life as quickly as possible.

Chief Operating Office for the system Brian K. Hortert has been named the administrator for the 25 short-term rehab beds at Harmony Physical Rehabilitation at this time.
