Concordia Residents Turn 100

Jefferson Twp., PA - Two residents at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot campus became centenarians last week. Jean Campbell celebrated her 100th birthday on September 1 and Katherine Fry marked her century year on September 3.

Jean Campbell moved to the Lund Care Center a little more than a year ago. A homemaker dedicated to her family, she has three daughter, Nina who lives in Pittsburgh; Lynn Marron of Foxburg; Margie Goldburg in Cleveland and her son John who resides in Florida.

Eight years ago Katherine Fry moved to Cabot but she is well-known in this area as she worked for several years at Lernerville Speedway in the concession stand. When asked for her secret to longevity she reveals that she still exercises, enjoys a regular, healthy diet and does not watch television.

Both were celebrated by the Concordia family through a proclamation from president and CEO Keith Frndak in their honor.
