Concordia to Host Harold Betters Free Concert

Jefferson Twp., Pa. – Concordia Lutheran Ministries is hosting Pittsburgh’s own Harold Betters Quartet on Tuesday, August 16 at 7 p.m. in the Haven I Dining Room, located at 112 Marwood Road on the Cabot campus.

The legendary 88-year old who is known as “Mr. Trombone” throughout the jazz world, has over a dozen albums to his credit. He has played “The Tonight Show,” "Merv Griffin," and "Mike Douglas," as well as on local TV programs in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and San Francisco. Harold has even performed with Louis Armstrong during his 40+ years in music. He can often be heard playing at Pittsburgh Steelers games.  

A marketing representative will be available for interested community members who wish to learn more about retirement living at the Concordia Haven Apartments. Light refreshments will be served.
