Concordia to Host Informational Seminar on Hip, Knee Arthritis and Joint Replacement Surgery

Cabot, PA - As Concordia Lutheran Ministries continues to increase its focus on rehabilitation and therapy services through short term rehab, outpatient rehab and home health care services, the organization will host an informational seminar on hip, knee arthritis and joint replacement surgery featuring several orthopedic and physical therapy specialists from the greater Pittsburgh area.

The seminar, which is part of a series cosponsored by the AMD3 Foundation, is on Saturday, March 24 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Concordia Haven I Apartment Building dining room (112 Marwood Rd.). Admission and parking are free; pre-registration is required.

Speakers for the event are Drs. Brian Hamlin, Tom Muzzonigro, Scott Rainey and Nicholas Reiser, Concordia director of rehab. The topics that will be covered are:

 

  • What is Hip & Knee Arthritis?
  • Conservative and Surgical Advancements in Knee and Hip Arthritis
  • Evaluation and Treatment for Back and Neck Pain
  • Exercises Before and After Surgery.
