Concordia Visiting Nurses Hires Clinical Educator
Cabot, PA - Concordia Visiting Nurses (CVN) President & CEO Martin Trettel recently announced the hiring of Jody Semmelroth , RN, MSN as Clinical Educator.
Semmelroth has spent the last 20 years in healthcare, with the bulk of that time in Neurological Intensive Care Units. For the last three years she has also taught part time at Butler County Community College. She earned her Bachelor of Science in and her Master of Science in nursing from Middle Tennessee State University.
Her responsibilities include providing continuing education to the clinical staff, employee orientation, one-on-one counseling and preparing CVN for the OASIS-C implementation. Semmelroth said she has always enjoyed caring for and educating people - the two major aspects of her new position.
"I like to be a resource," she said. "I enjoy seeing that I have reached someone with education. I also like that I can continue to see patients from time to time."
Semmelroth lives in Butler with her children, Olivia (16) and Emily (13), and her boyfriend Rob. She is a member at St. Mark's Church.
