Doc Talks at Concordia Open to the Public

Jefferson Twp., PA - William A. Sacksteder, M.D., thoracic surgeon, will present "Wound Care" on Thursday, September 12 at 6 p.m. in the Haven I Dining Room, Entrance 2A, 112 Marwood Rd., Cabot.

Dr. Sacksteder, a new member of the Butler Health System Medical Staff, comes to Butler County from Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa where he was Director of Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine. He earned his M.D. from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed a residency at Medical College of Georgia Hospitals in General Surgery and in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. He also did a fellowship at The Children's Hospital of Buffalo, NY in pediatric cardiovascular surgery and at The Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and The Heart Institute for Children at Christ Hospital and Medical Center in IL in Congenital Cardiac Surgery.  

He provides treatment at Butler Health System Wound Center.
