Good Samaritan Hospice provides bereavement support for the holidays

Jefferson Twp., Pa. – Good Samaritan Hospice, a mission of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, is hosting number of seminars this December designed to help anyone struggling with grief this holiday season.

Whether it’s been days, months or years since the loss of a loved one, grief can make the holidays a hard time. “GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays” is a seminar offering bereavement support for the holiday season. The goal is to help one learn to manage grief and find new reasons to enjoy the season.

There will be three separate seminars:

Registration is not required, and everyone is welcome to attend, free of charge. In addition to these holiday seminars, Good Samaritan Hospice hosts Grief Support Groups every week at two different locations: on the Concordia at Cabot campus in Cabot (every first and third Wednesday of the month), and at the Heritage Valley Health System in Beaver (every second and fourth Wednesday of the month).  For more information, contact Paul Rist at 800-720-2557.
