Two Concordia Nursing Supervisors Earn Personal Care Home Administrator Licenses

Cabot, PA - Carol Strejcek of Mosgrove and Laura Thompson of Ford City have completed studies and earned certificates as personal care home administrators according to Anne Crawford Denny, Administrator, Personal Care division at Concordia at Cabot.

Carol, unit manager, has worked at Concordia since October of 2000.  She studied at Penn State University.  Laura, also a unit manager has been at the Cabot campus for the past five years.  Both graduated from Lenape Vocational Tech School as licensed practical nurses.

Carol is married and has four children, two grandchildren, two horses, dogs, cats and ducks.   Laura and her husband, Jared have two young children - Haley, age nine and Liam, four years old.

The 100-hour course is approved by the state Department of Welfare.
